Milk jug + foam = ?

I have been thinking about entering a milk jug race, and had planed to cover a 12 foam paddleboard blank with milted milk jugs when I came across this artical

"There are all kinds of plastics. Consider the milk jug – the plastic is difficult to break apart, but it’s very bendable. Now think

about a foam cup – the plastic is easy to break apart, but it’s very stiff. For years, scientists thought melting these two kinds of plastics

together wouldn’t work. But one day Rutgers scientists tried it and found something amazing – together these two kinds of plastics form

a blend that’s both stiff AND difficult to break apart.

Testing showed it was not only harder than oak, but it was waterproof, termite-proof and it didn’t rot or bend or get soft in

sunlight. It was much harder and stronger than the kinds of “plastic wood” you sometimes see on decks and playground equipment. Also,

it didn’t need paint, and it would probably last a lifetime"
