Just talking then with a forum member, got me thinking…
has anyone made little curved fins [ie: side fins for a thruster] ?
I made bigger wood ones but they snapped at the fcs tabs [luckily not the plug pullout!]
I’d like to do fibreglass, but thought rather than risk heaps of expense to perhaps snap a fin, I’d go smaller [less cloth and resin ] first.
I’d be interested to hear if anyone has made these already, and how you felt they performed ?
thanks !
ben
ps- I’ll be using them in my 5’11 fish, and I was thinking fin size along the lines of about 2 1/2-3" base, same depth…

Al Dove is the man to talk to about curveys.
I have made several sets including curved Superchargers. They worked, but not my cup of tea.
Go for it.Who knows, you just might add the right twist to it and create a whole new revolution!Herb
I surf…therefore I am.
Herb, what size were your superchargers ? Were they glassons?
…do you have any photos, by any chance, I’d be keen to see them…
What didn’t you like about them ?
What would you change if you made them again ?
Were they solid glass ?
sorry for all the questions… I’m just curious to learn any pitfalls or shortcomings to try and avoid, and of course, what felt GOOD about them too !
thanks !
