In regards to fin placement on a mini-longboard 8’0". I plan on placing the rear box (bahne) at 4" up and was wondering about the side bites. Would 14.5 be considered up too far?

It’s far, but really depends on rocker of your board, thickness of the tail, size of the mini bites, feel you want to achieve, general placement of the rider, and how heavy!
