Mini-Mal Measurements?

Hey Folks -

I’ve been looking around for a template/measurements for a mini-mal without any luck? Does anybody have a link or know some measurements off the top of your head?

Brian

Here’s one I made for my wife: 7’5" X 17.5" x 21.5" X 14" x 2 7/8" thick, Single fin with slight concave under nose, low rocker and V ending at the fin box. Flat off the tail. Square tail.

For some reason the photo makes the outline look warbled, but it’s really not. Maybe it’s the flowers?

That’s a great board!

Thanks for the measurements. Any advice on thickness towards the nose/tail?

my girlfriend shaped a board similar to that but its kind of a double ender.

7’10 18 x 22 1/4 x 17 3/4. wide point a few inches back. which is something you could probably play with. board has a slight nose concave.

as for thickness we put it in front of center. as to promote float and ease of surfing. another thing you can play around with. the board is 3 inches thick to by the way.

the board looks a little off in the middle becasue the paint in the middle is a little off. i need to build a better rail marker thing.

HONE: I don’t remember the thickness at nose/tail but I can measure tonight and post it here.

Turbohog: Cool design on that board

Thanks srpato. my girlfriend did that whole board her self. the design needs to be created to shipman though. he did an orange one that you can find in the art work post.

the one she did is cool becasue it has a few fades from dark to lighter blue.

Talk to Greg Hunt at www.huntcustoms.com He makes boards similar to the Cooperfish Comet. Jim Phillips made one for me. It’s an 8,2 that is very versatile. Small surf or big. It’s a gem. A true tube rider. The weight of the board makes a huge difference in this size. Huge. I have a blue blank with 8 oz volan. Heavy, but smooth.
