Mini Simmons-ish dimensions

i'm working on a mini simmons-ish 6'2" 19"x23"x19" and 14.5" at the tail block.  i'm just wondering if i've pulled the tail block width in to much because i see a number of mini's with 17" at the tail. the lenght measurements are a little deceptive becasue i added some peak to the nose and made the tail a slight dimond and that adds a couple of inches. i like the looks of the plan shape better with the drawn out ends verses the round and squared off stubbie outline. i'm still planning on a mild hull blending to flat at the middle and then a single concave out the tail. i'm also going to install some wood or bamboo keels with probox inserts at 0 toe and 0 cant.  just looking for some approval from the gurus.

thanks,

bandito

My 6’2" - pushing 21" one foot from the tail. Tail - tip to tip - about 16". These are rough measurements but they are close. I’m no guru - hardly have any experience shaping at all - but my board was made by a reputable guy.

anyone have any thickness measurements at the tail block? i'm not sure how much i should be trying to thin the tail out. i'm at three inches at the mid point and am trying to taper it down but just not sure how far to go.

thanks,

bandito
