mini simmons. stringer or no?

I have some sheets of EPS and I have been putting together a mini simmons template to lay onto them.  But I have come to a bump in the road regarding whether or not to put a stringer in.

The board would be between 5 and 6 feet, made out of 2 lb EPS. the blank itself is 3 inches thick.  I would probably glass with 6 oz cloth because I dont care much about weight on a mini simmons.  2 layers of 6 oz on top (not a deck patch, just 2 layers) one on bottom.  would this have a foot dent in it pretty fast? i cant say i have ever surfed a board that didnt have a stringer or parabolic rail stringer in it.. besides a tuflite or t2 board, but they dont really count.

does anybody know if brilliant bob put stringers in his original EPS planing hull surfboards?

I've seen the interior of only one Simmoms sandwich construction board.   Balsa rails, foam core, plywood skins, AND a center stringer of 2 1/2 or 3 inch wide Balsa.    It's the only example of the interior of his boards that I've seen, but is likely indicitive of his usual construction technique.

Geez thats a lot of wood for what is defined as a foam surfboard.  Good luck dinging that thing
