mishap fixed!

Well I screwed up today…in a nutshell, I took out a chunk of a laminated rail with a router because I tripped on the cord. Crap.

I have pulled smooth moves like this before and have tried sugar/resin, foam chunks, etc and none match. Today I tried sugar/resin, and A pinch of qcell and it looks really good. probably won’t look good a couple months from now when the  foam yellows, but hey…it looks really good now! anyway, might be the oldest trick in the book, but I thought I’d share a success on here. hope this helps your screw ups…

ASteve, I was cutting an outline for a buddy. He was holding the template (instead of taping or clamping) while I used the router with a rub collar. He let the template slip and cut a 3/8" deep gouge into the outline. So, I pulled the tail in a little narrower and for some reason this turned into a magic board for him. 15 &3/4" nose and 13& 3/4" rounded pin. He goes like hell on it.
