Is anyone familiar with Tom Mobley surfboards, and how they ride? Tom grew up surfing right points. He spent many days surfing wth and watching Tom curren rip the local break wqay back when. His shaping influences are Greg Noll, Yater,Greg Liddle and Paul Gross. He has boards laying around made by these guys and surfed by Tom.SO, given this background what you have is a person committed to making boards in the “traditional” style-flat rockers,50-50 rails,Walker foam volan glass, etc.Although he does make whatever you want he is really known for making full on spoons for flat out trim speed, which work great at points, so-so at beachbreaks. He has made noseriders for several people, including the Malloy brothers, and all have given positive feedback. If you want to go fast at a pointbreak, theyare the way to go!
