Go to channel island surfboards and you will find the egg shape one with all the dimensions. I have rode the single fin shortboard and find that it is beyond what i imagined.

Hey clark, think of the most modern shape you really like, or a combination of all the shapes you like, then make it a single or in-line, and you’ll have the best board you’ve ever ridden.
Generally for modern singles I would have progressive rocker, with the wide point around, or just behind, centre. As for bottom shape, I personally like my own combination of concaves and ‘v’. But bottom shape can be argued forever, so choose your favorite there too.
I like the solo suggestion as I was McCoy influenced many years ago. I don’t like the thickness any more, I’d rather go a bit wider and thinner, so the width/thickness will depend a lot on how it’s made.
The modern single is still yet unexplored.
