okay folks simple answers to the following questions please:
has anyone used either of these products on either PU or EPS spackled foam directly and then glassed with Epoxy?.. I know they dont work on bare EPS so I suspect spackling will make no difference… I suppose im more interested ti know if either is compatible with Epoxy…

Are you talking rattle cans?
I don’t think it will work on EPS. Rattle cans melt EPS and spackle isn’t gonna do anything to protect it imo…
I have glassed with RR over Montana cans before with good results though. No problems at all. ymmv… I sprayed on cork and bamboo and glassed over it.
yep…rattle cans…thanks for that. …ill do some test patches just im case
Test patches are good.
I did some too.
I was able to spray multiple coates without any adhesion issues on the cork and bamboo.

I used the Montana acrylic on eps and it was ok. There were a few spots where I went a little heavy on the paint and there was a mild reaction from the aerosol.
i used the mtn water based paint on eps and it was totally fine
