Moving boards

Unfortunetly,I’m moving from Huntington Beach to Norristown,Pa. I’m using company called U-Pak. They drop off a trailer, you load it and then they drive our stuff to your new home. When I moved out to CA it was during early spring so heat wasn’t a problem. I’m wondering how the boards are going to hold up during the drive across the desert. I have six waxless boards each in their own board bags. I figure I should pack them on the floor of the truck since that should be the coolest place. Shipping them airborne is not an option and I really don’t want to stap them the roof of our car. Any other ideas or experiences with this. Thanks, John
