Hi - A single layer with patch should be fine.  It’ll dent and eventually shear along the stringer but that’s considered normal.

I have to take care not to spam all the other threads, but here is a pic from yesterday when I glassed on my fins. A pic of the leash loop can be found in the resin leash loop thread. In the back you see #3.

As with my fatty, this one received a fill coat too. Same question, can I leave it as is or do I continue sanding?

And for stingray: I placed the leash loop between the swallow tail, so I don’t step on it :wink:
