mtb board

i need help finding out how much this surboard is worth its an mtb thruster board 6ft no graphics just mtb on the front and back with thruster written down the sides on the back in red....mtb on the front in red also....i just got it and wanted to make sure i didnt get ripped off...email me at fqet1987@yhoo.com i ot pics there.....pls help\.

Definitely an early 80s 3-fin made in Melbourne, FL. The thread I referenced has much of the history of MTB. Look for initials by serial #, should havve been shaped by either Joe Shriver, Robert Strickland, or Johnny Lucas.

No particular collector value, mainly because they made a lot of boards at that time. Might have some value to someone, though. A ''collector'' MTB would be one of the initial California boards shaped by Takayama with a Mully splash and Brummert pinlines.

Along the stringer somewhere, I think they put them deckside. If you can't find anything it's under the trac-pad.
