In the middle of this board is a stringer that has a story that needs to be told. About a hundred years ago I planted a seed…No, not in my hand but in the earth. The seed sprouted and became this wonderful paulownia tree that took the sunlight and rain in and gave us oxygen and shade in return. When this soulful majestic tree was big enough I took out my trusty Daewoo chainsaw and cut her down. Once the stringer was milled out a Japanese businessman offered me $20 to take the rubbish off of my hands to make chopsticks at his disposable chopstick factory.

I’d say plant 4 trees in it’s place as a carbon offset for one taken down…
And the Japanese businessman will need to plant 40…just because I said so…
Be careful though, the seeds are really really tiny and blow away easily…
Nice board too SWAL…
