My last Dinosaur 9'1A

I picked up this blank Sunday Dec 4th…Deep sorrow in mowing this foam. Short board will continue to evolve and be made with better materials. But big wave boards, solid blanks, heavy glass, sparkling foam, vibrant deep color tints, 2 leash plugs, pinlines…well it’s a sad day.

I plan on keeping this board for a very long time. Any ideas on what color scheme? I got plenty of pigments and resin, might as well use it all up.

The most appropriate color that comes to mind would be black.

But we all know what black can do to a board and to wax.

Besides, it’s a really fine gun that deserves a very happy life.

Make it a vibrant green, that’s the color of hope.

Thanks Balsa,

Actually I was thinking / more appropriate about Black with a big RIP CLARK on the deck for my first EPS Epoxy board.

I am looking forward to the new skills…chicks dig guys with skills.

Maybe for the gun a combo… black with a vibrant green RIP Clark on the bottom with a vibrant green deck with black pinlines… that would look sweet…

pinlines not included… too hard to do w/ just paint and word

you could add some sweet pinlines on the deck… look at some of shipman’s work…

what about green deck with white pins and a yellow bottom??

I’d leave it white and do couple of fabric inlays - like sunrises on one side & skulls on the other

im working on a 7’ 6" funshape right now… I might have to use that color scheme on it… I also need the pinline practice. attached is a mockup of the color scheme. maybe use the same colors on the dino? (however, black is very appropriate since its the death of clark)

Tint it yellow. Yellow is a bright happy color. Mike
