My Quiver reign has ended

Just saw the new Qiver layout and discovered the photo of me standing outside of my 40' container van shape shack in Cordova Alaska has been replaced.  Well, it was my claim to surfing fame and was good while it lasted.  To those who care (or don't), I'm still shaping and have been lurking about swaylocks over the last 12 years or so.  My new shop is a 15'x12' shack in my backyard in Port Aransas, Texas.  Have been making everything from 22' surfing outrigger canoes, to 14' racing SUP's.  Getting too old and grouchy to post but figured I'd come out of retirement for one (or more).

Keep the faith all.  Congrats to Swaylocks for the continuing run with the web site, still kicks butt.  Hey to all the old crew (pre 2000!).

From AK to Port A.  Serious changes in latitude/attitude.

One of my favorite breaks was just south of Port A.  Last time I saw it, sand had filled it in.

Dave,

That was a long tenure. Alas my friend, all things come to an end.

Let’s see your new shaping shack…
