Finally got the time to get this together. This is what i ride (with a couple of my son’s boards thrown in. I am 51, 200lbs and been surfing 40 years.

(sorry, did upload first time)

Starting @12o’clock

7’6" Max MacDonald EB5- elevated wing Bonzer 5 fin

7’10" Craig Hollingsworth Lightning Bolt-big wave gun

7’2" Sakonnet Design (my Label) Quad; featuring Greenlight bamboo cloth, Resin Research epoxy and ProBox; enternal thanks to Brian, Greg and Larry

7’6" Hanel Quad fish from Moonlight- this is the only board not custom spec’d for me; total impulse buy from nights of eyeing SurfySurfy

6’10" Mandala Quad-pyched; just got new Bamboo 101 quads from Moonlight, can’t wait

6’7" Jarrod Oldham compsand Bonzer 3 Bumblee - boy does this board speed skate and it’s light as a feather; Jarrod is making me another board now; awesome dude

6’6" Brian Bulkley twin fin

7’0" Brian Bulkley with belly rolls; this can be setup as a tri, widow maker or single fin. Brian is great to work with. Got the twin fin in record time, had an idea for this board and it was in my hands before I knew it.

6’11" Max MacDonald Octafish 5 fin bonzer

This is what i refer to as my Sways Quiver. Every board here was influenced by something I saw in Swaylocks. I met most of the shapers through Sways.

Alrighty- from smallest to biggest

6’8" skip frye winged swallowtail

7’ liddle hull

8’ andreini vaquero hull

9’6’’ eddie gutierrez swallow tail speedster

10’6" skip frye eagle

all singlefins except the 10’6" which is 2+1 (tiny sidebites)

i am 6’1" and weight about 165- will be 50 year old this spring- i mostly surf the longer points around santa cruz with a beachy thrown in here or there. just an average, jolly, exercize and socialize wave rider- i am happiest when i can find the sandy bottom point near my house working and not too crowded. you can tell by the wetsuit marks on the wax what get ridden the most.

Now who is the count with the stash???

Ah, one hull

Ahhh, twoo hulls

Ahhhhh, threeee hulllls…

ha ha ha

Damn Steiny, your wax looks worse than mine- or as bad at least.

All my own boards:

6’0 twin keel fish with trailer, shallow single to double concave (EPS)

6’2 “modern fish” with thruster setup, shallow single to double concave (flatter, wider performance shortboard) (PU/PE)

6’4 battatil quad, shallow single to double concave (EPS)

7’0 double wing swallowtail semigun, shallow single to vee out the back (RR Epoxy over Ice9 Cane)

9’2 “Classic” longboard - three stick, nose concave, flat to rolled vee single fin (PU/PE)

There’s a few more I don’t ride much. The 6’4 and the 9’2 get the most water time.

nj surfer, where are the photo’s? I know you know how to post them. You have helped me enough on some of my questions; would love to see your work. Also, gotta love those hulls. Too bad all the points i surf around here are backside.
