name for screen printing paper

hi
i need a bit of help i usually get my logo paper from neil wallace printmakers in oz, but they run out and wont have any for a few months.
the stuff i use has a slightly shiny side on it

i can get it from the surf supply places, but that will cost me more
i will be buying bulk or a roll.
need to know the name and code for the good stuff so i can order direct

i have had a few paper suppliers send me samples but so far none is close to what i have
ive tried samples of:
modelspan
maruishi
lens tissue
gampi
and a few others so far

Any Japanees paper supply I buy rolls 0.75 mil for the printer feed the thin stuff is a pain to feed.

I buy caligraphy paper from the japanese office supply

store and it is on a roll bout 1 1/2 ‘’ in diameter

and twenty feet long and 15’’ wide.This is the stuff tat is used for

big characters in kanji painted within the traditional practice.

Just out of curiosity, is anyone using wide format solvent printers for their graphics? It seems like they would be better to use on short run jobs. There are more types of media available as well.

That was the right website. I've got a partial roll of their laminate paper. It's quality stuff, the same that is used to screen logos. Works real well with an HP plotter also.

Here's the email I just got from them, shows prices and contact info:

thanks all
i contacted them today surfthis, but working out too expensive due to it being narrow.
need to get it in europe somewhere, but everyone calls it something different :o(
need it 1 mtr wide by 100mtrs
hopefully one of the japanese suppliers who i sent samples to over in the uk will come through

Found out yesterday when the last samples came in that the paper I have from oz
is Tosa Washi paper
Though also it’s real expensive!

Another option is modelspan 24gsm paper works real good for printer logos and a third of the price!
