I have a huge deck ding repair and I was wondering where I could get a large piece of foam instead of scavenging some from a old shortboard. Do they sell it in blocks anywhere?
Poly styrene or poly urethane? I dunno if you just flubbed the spelling, So here’s where I’d look for either. Polyurethane… if you check you phonebook under anything to do with sailing or boating, you can sometimes find chunks. They use them under glass to build stuff out. You might be able to get cut chunks and odd shapes from them if you come down and pick them up. Otherwise try you nearest door factory. (maybe our town is odd, but we got about 3 of them…) They often fill the insides of exterior doors with foam. I’ve seen EPS, XPS, and PolyU all used… For poly strene, Home Depot…
[=1][=Black][ 4]Yeah RedThornBoards I goofed. I was looking for a sheet/chunk of polyurethane but I solved my problem. I took an old worn out shortboard I had and cut out the chunk that I needed. Thanks anyway. Troy[/][/][/]
