I just saw an ad for a 8’x16’ shed that is being given away. Sounds like just the right size to make a nice little personal factory. If I had a place to set it down I would be calling a place to rent a trailer and big pick up truck.
Or you can build a shed yourself… if you don’t have the truck avail…I’m forced to shape outside w saw horses until I get more bucks.
You could rent a truck and trailer for not too much money. A lot less then the cost of building a new shed. Get a few friends to help with the promise of shape
Wood is cheap where im at…and the cost of trailer + truck would be over $100.00 , the cost of a shaping rm would cost me less where I get my wood at. I’m not talking about making a huge factory…and I can save more if I buy second quality lumber… I think I could put a ten x ten shak with two x fours and a cheap plywood roof + fricken cheap roofing materials… I bet I could build a shaping bay for under $139.90 .but renting a truck w
trailer + miles, gas etc… I bet it’s going to cost you well over $199.00
Figure rental a hundred, figure gas twenty to forty, trailer another sixty- you are well up to $200.00. I can can just get cheap plywood for free if I don’t mind piecing it together. Maybe it’s cheaper wherever youre at. Not out here! Trucks, trailers are costly. Cheap wood cost less.
139.00 for a 10x10 with roof , where do you live … i’m moving there .

Ok, I exagerated a bit…lol. but man, they will gouge you at many of the truck rental places these days! I paid over two hundred four yrs ago help n a friend move (they paid)…and a so called $19.95 a day and uhaul truck wasn’t even avail aft we inquired about their discount. I just think(if a guy)just bought second quality wood and built the shed with free scraps it shouldn’t cost more than those rip offs! But he can try…after all he is probably want n something for production shaping & glassing! Good luck on it.
Actually, the last time I bought lumber I only bought a few 2x 4s etc., and I paid $12.00…anyway, it doesn’t sound like he has a place for shed n e how…anyway, that shed is probably long gone by now…time to go scavenge sum wood! Youll need one for glass jobs for sure! Fyi ive only glassed one so far, and we got fish eye due to cold air…it was a bitch.
