I’m making this board as a retirement gift for the Chief thats retiring from my Fire Department. The board is a HWS 9’0" gun made out of Bass and Purple heart wood. I will be glassing the fin on. Any suggestions for fin templates?

Try looking at the fin from the Lightning Bolt thread by Kensurf. The fin is an original from Herb and the older days.
By the way, beautiful choice in materials. The contrast is very nice considerinig the current cost of Purpleheart and other hardwoods. What are the rails going to be made of?
Always loved the look of a multi-stringer at the rails.
