need help identifying a board

it's about 6'3" long, pretty thick and wide.  maybe 6'3" x 3' x 22"

I have two more pics but am having issues uploading them from the phone.  one of which is the glassed in fin with a hole drilled into it and the leash attached to the fin.

I'm thinking 70's

The plan shape and single fin say "70's", but it doesn't look like it was the victim of any TLC at any point along the way.  In fact, it looks like those Hawaiian fiberglass termites have had a field day with it.  I say bag it and tag it!

it looks worse than it is.  in the pic, what looks to be exposed cloth is actually not.  there's a clear coat on it that's smooth over those areas but you can clearly see the laps.

Sad to see another “John Doe.”  Still it looks like he had a good life.

The shape was prevelent in the late 60's thru the earliest 70's.

If it's a hull, maybe the former.

Most production shapers, and all custom shapers, wrote code #'s on the blank next to the stringer, to indentify who and when the board was shaped.  Look for those.

Agreed. Looks like 1969 to maybe '72. Leash attached to fin via drilling a hole was common in ealry leash days, which is around '72.

Disagree, strongly. Tons of boards left the racks of name brand outfits at that time with nary a marking on them.
