south africa, … nope…close though, los angeles!!
Ahh well,
LAX is perfect, find all shipping companys located in the LAX corridor or area.
I’ve had boards from overseas arrive through these companies.
Get a lot of quotes, go for the cheapest quote sending it by Air:Standby.
One or more of these are going to be familar with shipping surfboards.
I would guess that your going to get real comfy with the yellow pages or internet.
Call Butch at Unishippers.
Worldwide delivery can and does include many components that need to be organized effectively to be able for the whole provide sequence to perform without problems. Shipping organizations need to perform with logisticians, service provider organizations and traditions agents to make sure that the right deliveries appear when organized so that they can successfully go through traditions in regular basis - but that is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what goes on behind the curtain for shipping forwarders. us address
1100 bucks? … You’re kidding. I heard taking boards from the States got a lot harder … Airlines don’t want to play. Buddy of mine in Bali owns a surf charter and told me about it. He’s trying to incorporate a deal with clients so they get a board [chosen] upon their arrival.
Apparently even bringing a board [on board] as luggage is now prohibitive financially speaking. Weird. and SOO WRONG . DHS?
Good luck mate…
Shipping boards either way does not work…
Why not get the boards built in bali… I have a new aps3000 there and a nice factory with Burford blanks and silmar resin and surf9 glass… Much more efficient than shipping…
…hey man, put your ad on the surf shop or industry sections not in this forum.
This forum is to try to understand techniques and help each other…that by the way is something like you do not perform; businessman.
