You can always pull a photo up on line and have it printed in the size yiu want from kinkos or whatnot

I have a 1957-1958, rounded pin Velzy & Jacobs Pig template. It was given to me in 1958 by Wayne Land, who frequently shaped for Velzy. Wayne had a surf shop in La Jolla in 1958, called Burland Surfboards. It's a spin template, made for the balsa era boards. Also, I recently saw a Pig at Jim's shop, a squaretail, that was simply one of the most beautiful Pig outlines I've seen. So much so, that I asked him for a copy of the template. It is really that good! Happy to send you the template I have, if you would want it. Let me know.
I saw a picture of Jim’s squaretail pig also.( Another Swaylockian has offered me a template which is awesome…I love this place).ANy help is much appreciated. I had the opportunity to work with Wayne Land back in the mid 60’s. He was on the East Coast. I would dig a copy of that pig that Jim has or any others. .

I will get the Pig template out to you, in the mail, on Monday. I'll give you a call later, and fill you in on the nuances of the Pig design, of that late '50's era. Some of it may surprise you.
Bill, could you share the nuances with the rest of us? Didn’t you mention putting together a Swaylock’s design meeting about a year or so ago? Anything coming up?

I did raise the question, if there were some people interested. There seemed to be a lack of interest, so I dropped the idea. the S H F, or Bird's Surf Shed, are two possible venues. But, as I said, there did not seem to be much interest.
