Well the missus’ has pulled the plug on my shaping priveliges.
Looking for resources to do my shaping elsewhere.
Went to PravdaSurf website, they appear to be out of the
shaping bay rental business, not sure.
I hear some glassers allow you to use a shaping room
if you glass it there.
Would like to know which ones?
Also, if I do my shaping at one of those glass shops for free , being a bit thin
on shaping exp., a board usually takes me 2 days, 3-4 hours
each stint, for a total of 6-8 hours. Would that exhaust their good will?
Although I could probably get it done in 5-6 hours straight.
Would be nice to rent a storage space that would allow this.
Have shaping stands,tools will travel.
I’ve been doing about 1 board a month.

mark, the owner of “chuck dent” posted a while ago stating that you could use one of his shaping bays as long as you have the board glassed by them. call him and ask him about it. let him know your needs about time etc…see if you guys can work something out. might be better is you stopped by and spoke with him. he’s a good guy…I had a few boards glassed there when I used to live in hb years ago. peace and aloha from maui, foamhacker!!!

Thanks KenSurf.
I’m a ways from making a call though, perhaps
a few weeks.
Just finished one board and we’re in a current wave slump
for at least another 2+ weeks. Hence the new board can’t be
ridden and verified until I can get 2 or more days of some solid HH waves. Then its time for the next board.
Thanks
