Needed, Salomon S-Core plug

Hello Eveyone!

 

I am in need of a replacement plug for my Salomon S-Core board.  I know I’m not the first person who needs one of these, but since they are no longer producing these boards, I have had no luck finding a replacement.

Any suggestions on who might have one or where I can find one?

Not sure what plug you need but Fiberglass Supply has some.  If you can't find the correct plug itself, you could install a new housing with Gore-Tex membrane or plug.  Both are available and are about as difficult to install as a leash plug.  Pete Casica (known on Swaylocks as PeteC) has a nice version of the membrane type.

Hi Gray,

We carry two different vent plugs each in two different variations.  One is inexpensive and needs to be opened and closed manually to vent the other is the Gortex self venting made by Casica (John Mellors suggestion).  You can find them both here.

Graykale,

I was able to fit one of the after market vents in the existing hole. I ruffed up the surface of the original and used epoxy to bond it in.  I will try to post a pic of the one that fits later.

One like this will fit.  F/G Supply and Foam EZ etc should have.
