Howzit Herb, Are you in danger of having to evacuate? Knowing you, you will stay till they force you out. Be careful and if they tell you to get out then get out, fire isn’t funny and I hope you are far away from it.Aloha,Kokua

Hola Herb,

We are doing OK, for the present. The near future looks brighter than it has for days. Closest the fire got to us was about 3 miles. Close in distance, closer in time. Only three to five minutes away, in the strong Santa Ana winds. We are still in an evac zone, though word is residents MAY be allowed back in, late this afternoon. Two looters were captured at my neighbors house, around 6pm, last night. (only about 300 feet away) There are some real heros out on the front lines, you among them. Hang in there, my man. We still need to do some fishing/hunting together.
