New Board for the Mentawais!

Hey guys...

heading to the mentawais in few months (shoulder season) and im keen for suggestions on a new thruster to take...well I will take a couple of professionally made boards but I want to also take one that I have made...at least I can then say my boards have been tested in INDO!!!!

I currently surf boards around the 6'6" X 191/2" to sometimes 20" X 2 1/2" to sometimes 2 3/4" (hope that is understandable!)

Anyone got some experience on what might be suited/required over there...wont be searching for double overhead stuff...probably more likely up to 6ft range

Hi Saltbush, Im heading over there in a couple of days and just choosing my boards now, Im 75kg and 5ft 8 ish and am thinking of taking two allrounders 6’2 ish, one 6’6 step up for the bigger days and a fun board 5’10" for the variety.Its my first time over that part of the world so not really sure what to take either. A couple will be my own shapes and a couple I have bought, ill post the pics of the quiver as soon as I have them all in one place!
