Took your advice and watched a vid on Terry Martin “the perfect 40 minute board” by surfers journal I think and he does as you explained in your previous post. He makes it look way too easy.
Using the electric planer is a bit daunting to be honest but I’m determined to get to grips with it. Wish me luck!!

Alright mate! I’ve got an older version of the free shape3d X software, I didn’t update it 'cos the newer versions removed a lot of the options. Can’t remember which version number it is now. I don’t think you have the template option in the lite version.
