Just gave a board to one of the up and coming young ladies in our area. She has great potential and is someone worth sponsoring. She was pretty fired up to get a brand new “Krokus” Thought I’d try to post a pic…

That board looks pretty good… what kind of surf do you guys get?
Hey MM
We mostly get choppy windswell in the waist to chest high range. Occasional overhead and clean with offshores. That particular board is for choppy conditions…very little concave and slightly fuller rails. Superblue blank w/464 glass job. Those kids are rough on their boards!

Hey thats true–I was out in some choppy windswell today, maybe waist to chest–so if I’m getting a board (fish) shaped for G-town, it should be kinda non-caved? Nice board–got a website? Where you are?
HeyJ
I am in the G-town area. Yea if you are getting a fish shaped,it is a slightly different animal… A little less concave is more predictable in choppy surf…And there is nothing to compare to a great concave in perfect conditions. It is all relative to actual boardspeed across the water. We don’t usually generate the speed here that gets a board out to it’s ragged edge on performance. Not like superbank or supertubes where you are racing for your life across different sections. We have very area specific design parameters. I have just put up a temporary site…It is under construction…check it out…

I like the website… If you did the flash intro yourself, try speeding up the frame rate to about twenty five or thirty to make it look less choppy… But I think it convinced me to get a board shaped by you if I can’t get my new one sealed…
