I am a new member to swaylocks. Some of you may know me from the 2nd generation thread from tjrm63. I am his son. I am looking forward to start making surfboards and continuing the legacy. Hence the name MahadysProdigy or 2nd generation. Looking forward to seeing the world of swaylocks!

Tyler.

Hey Tyler it’s Rick.  So Tom is finally putting you to work in the sweat shop?  Nice to see ya on here.

Hey balsa

I am going to france this year in august. I am going to normandy in a town called Brix. I have no clue where that is compared to where you live but if it is close one day I will have to stop by.Maybe if theres waves we can surf.

Thanks

Tyler

A proper introduction for an awesome young builder. Welcome
To sways and take in everything you can !

I have never met tom, im on the other side of the world, but he’s a great bloke and makes some great boards. Welcome!!

Being Tom’s son means you’re already half-way there. But remember: this first half is about 10% of it all. 80% are waiting ahead; And the remaining 10% you’ll never achieve since perfection does not belong to this world.

Nevertheless, you could have had a worst start. And everybody here is willing to help. Welcome aboard!

Oh, and, Tyler, do me a favor: convince your dad to go on holidays in south-western France soon, OK?

Wow… I google-earthed “Brix” and the news are not good… It is situated in the middle of nowhere, a bit south of Cherbourg, with famous world war II beaches of Omaha and Utah to the east. To the west, some beaches have been said to have some windy, slow and sloppy surf on rare occasions but I would not recommend the place to anyone for a surf trip… Why the hell are you going THERE? Also, we could hardly be farther away from each other since the Basque coast lies about 800 Km to the south west… Too bad.

If you turn out anything like your Pop...then you'll be aces. Ol' Tom is a pretty good guy.
