Keep the deck flat, the rails thick but turned down slightly hard, for quick response.
You are closer in the ballpark now with those specs.
I’ve NEVER managed to get a 9’ board to fit into a 9’ long bag! Better consider 8’9" or so.
Big fin also, like 10.5, but with lots of surface area.
Windsurf shop for wider and thicker double travel bags.
It’s 8’10" right now. Did my 1st phase shaping, did my rail bands, tommorrow the 100 grit screen - rails and deck. Going with another 2+1 fin setup. Taking the 9’ double board bag back tommorrow. Will get a windsurfing double - saleperson should’ve suggested that in the first place…
Thinking about doing the airbrush balsa faux like in the 101 but then again I might go with some aloha misc prints.
