We make a movie
about surf on a planet called planet C and then one is discovered that might have surf.

May 10 San Francisco at the Roxy 7 & 9 pm (Thank You MOLLUSK SURF SHOP!)
May 12 Santa Barbara at The Victoria Hall Theater 7 & 9 pm (Thank You Steve Brom and Esau’s Cafe!). At our Santa Barbara show we will reffle a Steve Brom Fish and Some Esau’s Cafe Breakfasts. This raffle will be at 8:45 pm
May 18 Costa Mesa at the Hurley Whearhouse 6 - 11 pm (Thank you Hurley!)

well the good news is we don’t have to go to planet C to “see” what the C-ites are all about.
furthermore, we ought to be stoked on what we have here on this planet, afterall the humanoids left planet C for our planet.
at the end of the day…may 12th infact, there will be a nice Brom Fish to be raffled and a good uncrouded point break peeling.

Yeah we get the point… you made a movie about people from planet C… this aint a bilboard… and Im doubting the name is coincidence… Planet C has been on the “Highly likely to have water” list for quite a while, they have just now narrowed the odds… so my astronomer friend tells me.
Anyway… all up for a discussion on planets but the promo is a bit blatant, which I guess is ok if your happy to say if you are on the production team or have a financial interest…

I am on the production team. 2 people made this film. I am one of them.
Some people have shown alot of interest in this project, I am just trying to make sure those interested parties get thier chance to enjoy it on the big screen, and maybe score a raffled Brom Fish.
When I came up with the title of this project, I named our planet “planet C” due to the homonym.
It was a coincidence, albiet timely.
Maybe I should design and pattend My new buisness Idea now. Space shuttle surfboard racks. WALDO brand Space shuttle surfboard racks .What do ya think?

Planet C/planet Sea… now the real planet C… still wondering about that but I’ll let you have it… (yeah because Im so important and everything hahah not) If you havent noticed Im obviously a natural born sceptic when it comes to self promotion 
but its not a bad way to be these days given some of the other crap thats out there.
In any case, its cool that you are bringing out a new surf flick - more power to that!!
Any plans to bring it to Aus?

we filmed in Aus (new south wales). it would be great to get out there with the finished project. andrew from switchfoot was checking us out. we are trying to get back on our feet after fabricating our merchandise.
we were not funded for this project.
that shop in Byron (Hoko upu? …excuse the mispelling) is getting some borad form Steve , we hope to get our dvd’s in at thier shop.
we’ll see what the future holds.
Well Im in victorial, about an hour away from Bells beach although I grew up on the gold coast/Byron/Northern NSW area (lots of weekend surf trips) and most of my highschool buddies still live in northern NSW so it would be great to see.
Let me know if you are having issues with getting in with a distributor… I have some friends in MadMan Productions and also H2 (H squared) who might have a look at it if nothing is happening with your other contacts…
would like to see it do well for ya… its hard work getting something like this together. I dont know how many people realise the effort that goes into making something happen and then the battle begins all over again once the product is actually finished.

thanks. it has been a tremendous effort. this project has had a greater impact that i first thought possible, and has required MUCH more work that I would have ever wished upon myself.
i am proud of what we have.
we are fabricating our first run and are going to see how we like handeling the distribution end of things. We have been in contact with Mutiny Media and studio411 concerning distribution.
I understand glass love is beeing distributed through Andrew’s website only.
I am not trying to say we aren’t interested in a distributor. However, we are going to run through these (3,000) and our inventory of merchandise and see what happens from there.

Rumor has it that Planet C was named after Coral …?! and that Coral and Bonta are stow-aways aboard this spaceship … and are a part of this film hiding in a crowd … with the boogers … Is this the first oppertunity we’ll get to see these two characters of Swaylock lore … have fun …!!
