new to the site....and not sure where to post my vintage Jacobs?

Thank you for your time and effort to help. I just purchased a 1960’s Jacobs. The young man seemed and acted sincere. The board looks correct. I’m just want to make sure. The number I forund written on the TailBlock is: 4439. The board is not signed, nor are there any dimensions written on the Stringer. It’s 10’ 6" and has a “D” shape fin. He said it was a 1964.

Cheers, Brian

Of course it doesn’t have a signature or dimensions, if it’s a '64!!! NOBODY did that in the 60s!

Just go ahead and post photos right here (assuming you have some).  Make sure they are clear, detailed and thorough pics. Outline, top, bottom, fin, serial #, etc

Without photos, it’s all pretty pointless.

By the way… a mid 60s 10’6" would be a fat guy board. Like, suited for someone over 250 lbs. I’ll bet it weighs a whole lot, too. Upwards of 30, easily.

Hey Brian, It’s Rich. I am searching for the info and printout of the serial number time line sheet I was able to pull from someone here. I will message you when I find it.

Best,

Rich
