Wow very nice! I agree: volan and w-red-cedar looks so nice. add some black glue lines and oooooohhhhh yeah. How about a shot of the rails? I think we’re going to have to see Ramon and Hunt in a cage match! Both putting out some sweet boards.
Thanks for the nice words, Surfore, and I’m honored that my boards would be compared to Ramon’s. His boards are so clean! I tried this one (the 10’) at the P.V. Cove on Thanksgiving in overhead surf and got some nice results. Last night I made a new template for a 9’10x19.50x23.875x16.0 blunt-nosed noserider. It barely fit on the 9’9"W, but think it’s the longboard outline I’ve been after.>>> Wow very nice! I agree: volan and w-red-cedar looks so nice. add some > black glue lines and oooooohhhhh yeah. G Hunt, i’d be honored to get in Surfore’s ‘cage’, and shape a few with you anyday. i’ve admired the boards that you’ve submitted, too! i think that we may draw inspiration from similar sources. ya know?>>> Thanks for the nice words, Surfore, and I’m honored that my boards would > be compared to Ramon’s. Creating a natural curve, nose to tail, is one of the most challenging aspects of board design for me. I’ve lost track how many 1/8" sheet boards and trips to Home Depot it takes to finally get a keeper.>>> I like the outline a lot.
