Not long now till this years Festival of Surfing begins ( March 3-9 ).
This year looks to be a huge event becoming much more than the traditional longboard comp of past years. Tandem, Ocean paddle and swim, SUP, sponsor events, concerts , retro events etc etc AND a Surf Industry Expo.
How many Swaylockers will be there competing, displaying or just there for the fun.

Won’t be there for the comp. I’m going to be up there the following week. 13th to the 20th. We went up same time last year and had 1st point all week 2-3 ft every day. platty.

I will wander down to watch the comp at some stage over the weekend I’m sure. If I’m there when the over 45’s is on and you’re surfing, I will say hello. Will you be surfing a board of your own making? I have my fingers crossed for some swell as well.

My fingers are crossed as well, been waves there for most of the last 2mths so here’s hoping the run continues. I ride Arrawarra Longboards shaped by Brett Munro , can’t beat boards from a Master shaper.
