For a traditional noserider that rides in the pocket:

I made a noserider last year based on Tom Wegeners article

www.tomwegenersurfboards.com/suctionplus.htm

The key is in 50/50 rails, hips towards the tail, and a kicked tail.

I used a 9’9"W blank in classic weight, I added 1/2" tail kick and 1/2" panel V in the last 18". Up front I had a nose concave going to Flat .

I would probably go with rolled Vee to panel Vee if I was repeating it as its a bit too fast. All held in place by a 10.5" FCS clasic fin. Noserides a treat & turns pretty well too. Glassed heavy. If you need a template let me know by PM.

add in very pinched out, parallel rails, a broad nose, and a relatively flat entry rocker…and you’ve got a noseriding MACHINE!!!
