I ask him about it since it was on the wall or his house, and not on his board. He said that he got the best/longest nose ride of his life while using the Velzy V fin. He told me that it was hell in the kelp, he also said that at high speed it caused the board to hyrdoplane. I had heard that before about the fin. Barry the northing CA Velzy rep told me that he tried one in the Islands and it would lift the tail out of the water, on a fast wave. I don’t know anything about the other two fins, but I think you will always give up something, to gain something. Look at the Lance Carson web site. He has a old style fin for a box that really works for nose riding. It does make the board a little stiff but like I said. You gain, and you loose.
