not all potatoe chips and wedges

well there has been some great trhreads lately… looking forward to getting hold of some of gregs resin… been making a few sandwiches of my own too bert… will continue on my r+d trail for a while… been lovin designing with the aps3000 software… heres my latest boards for myself…

like your motto says, diversity is the key…

if all board builders were multiskilled ,then they would all be prepared for any shift in the market…

regards

BERT

thanks bert… i think the balance between getting by financially, and being diverse is a difficult line to walk tho

hey those diverse boards …very cool idea…just the whole theme, ive seen those boards somewhere, just wondering wher they come from…its just very cool art, i cant really draw too good for some reason but if i could ,well anyway i really like those designs…maybe i saw them surfing the web, or maybe in a shop?

I am confused, you are labelling your boards as ‘diverse’ but they look normal in all respects except the artwork.

That’s cool enough, but then you are discussing them is if they are examples of surfing diversity. Is this a ‘con job’ or am I missing something?

hey …yes there just surfboards…but to me i love the whole red sun & old war planes dropping bombs idea…but no they are not 17ft. woods ,just as intresting in there on way.

It’s cool art alright, I’m just on the warpath today!

Roy,

Personally, I don’t think that Swaylocks is the appropriate place for your “warpath”.

Dave,

Great art!! On the longboard, is that the Fin Solution system (at least the side biters)? If so, how do you like the system?

Regards,

Matt.

You may be right, I may be crazy, but it just may be a lunatic they’re looking for! (Billy Joel)

Diversity is the key to this forum’s needs?

Chiz Chiz!

Here’s the tongue, and here’s the cheek!

roy… i try to give the customer what best for him with the most commonly accepted methods currently, while i experiment with other mediums to aid my learning and final results for my customers. i try to give a lot in the way of education and customer service … which from what i see around retail land doesnt happen as much as us swaylokians would like… hence difference-diverse… etc i like your work and your quik replys often leave me laughing, as for the fin solutions … i find them great to use and very strong with a wide range of templates available using fcs fins… p.s. my art is often reserved as i dont wanna scare too many potential soft customers away…

Cheers Dave, thanks for taking my sharp tongue with good humour. Roy
