OB SF ART

Hi All,

My sister in law is a print maker and a lot of her images revolve around the ocean. This SF oil spill had me thinking about OB. Many of her prints she made while living with my wife and I on the Great Highway in OB, a place I miss.

I hope you enjoy them.

One more.

Although only one of these is OB up north. That one of me surfing is OB SD. The other is clamming on Montauk. But related.

some of those would make nice inlays

or printed on wice papor

Thanks, Ken. They are better in person. They really capture OB, I think–except the one of Montauk.

Really nice!

Such good art

Any more?

I agree, Janklow. She’s done lots of stuff that I don’t have pix of but I will try to post some more if I can find more. Her recent ones are all wood block engravings and I like the texture of the wood in the final product. I am biased, but I think her recent output has been really fantastic in its quality.

Are you an artist?

I really like the one of the Oil Spill Clean Up, the colors are eerily warming.

Very nice woodworks (I don’t know the word for “xylography” in english), I liked them a lot. Especially number 5 and number 9.

Tell the artist that I enjoyed her work very very much.

One is on my screen desktop… hope she won’t get mad about it :).

Let me know if there are exhibitions of her pieces.

I suggest: let’s post some artwork made by artists in the thread.

Here I post you a pencil work (a landscape without the human presence) made by my friend artist Stefanos Rokos from Athens, Greece.

Ciao

Sefano
