Okay guys.... we have 3 days before we have to sign our new baby girl's birth certificate, and we can't decide on a name! Anyon

Our newest baby girl was born Sept. 24th at 6:32 A.M. and weighed in at 5 pounds 7 ounces! Wheeeehoooooooo!

She’s a beauty!

However, my wife and I cannot decide on a name. I’m looking for some good suggestions!

She wants the middle name to be Clara, and the Last name (if you don’t know me) is Falkenau (Fall like the season, Ken like the name, and awe like you are in awe of one of Paul Jensen’s Hollow boards.)

Come on Swaylockians! You can do it!!!

Dave

Congratulations !!

But its a brave man that invites anyone to help name a child. It’s usully very much the premise of the mother…

I had a good one that I did’nt get to use, cos we had two boys in a row…(Not that its so much necessarily a girls name, but my wife vetoed anything I came up with, including, strangely, both Evel and Lemmy, alas…)

Sequoia

Means:- Tree that withstands many storms…

Anyway, whatever, but again, congrats…

Josh

congratulations dave!

no suggestions at this point - cant rush these things, but i’ll get back to ya.

congratulations Kawika!!!

we just had our first baby 5 months ago…

i’m Itallian and we came up with Gianna

i know i’m a little biased but that’s the prettiest name i can think of,

you’re welcome to use it.

My favorite great aunt was named Cora. If I had a daughther she’d be a Cora.

Congrats Dave! Best of luck with the new addition.

Just named our new one Jula (pronounced Hoola)

But she’s a lil’ french bulldog puppy

Hanna Kawika has a sweet sound to it

Congrats.

My daughter’s middle name is Rose. I always liked that because it’s kind of old school and yet it’s new because no one uses it much anymore.

congrats on the baby girl. they are the greatest gift you can ever get.

I have an Olivia and an Emily. great names feel free to use one of them my girls said it’s cool

I have a boy named Taylor if you want to go that route.

Congratulations!

In honor of our republican vice presidential nominee, how about Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper or Trig? (oh, the horror!)

Candy Clara Falkenau

can’t resist:

Carla

Congratulations Kawika! I can’t think of a name the would go good before Clara but will keep trying.

I called my little princess who informs me she is a big girl now she gave up the boob. D’arci. and she is the spawn of the devil and the apple of my eye.

Clara Rae Falkenau

“Mazal Tov” dude…

5 pounds 7 ounces ??!!

eps i guess huh ?

i like the name Shelli or Shelly …

cute name, sounds like a “shell” and we got also a very very nice female surfer named Shelli, ( 1st place champ in women surf in israel)

Both remind me the ocean.

This site has the top 1000 baby names for the last 100 years in the US. Some interesting names in there.

You won’t find my daughters names in there.

Ahmee and Ahlimee (traditional Lisu hilltribe names for No1 and No2 born girls).

I’m currently balancing my new boy (Jasper, born 4 weeks ago) on my knees while typing this.

Congratulations on your new daughter. I hope mum and bub are doing well.

I was thinking of the names of the daughters of the norse seagod Aegir, which are all poetic names for waves. However they are very Norse and doesn’t make much sense in the English translation as a name (maybe except for Billow…)

Håvard

a mate of mine just called his daughter perri.

not quite sure of the spelling but it sounds like perry…

cool name for a girl i thought…

congrats and all the best…
