I saw an old picture of Dale Velzy using what looked like a HUGE old Stanley router attached to a long wooden arm, suspended over a wood blank. Looked sort of like a big panograph machine but it didn’t look like he was trying to duplicate anything. At first I thought he might just be using the router to cut the outline, but I think the board already had a crown to the deck. Any ideas? Just curious. Eric
it’s called a profile machine…saw one for sale on here about a month or so ago…i think the guy wanted about $3k for it
has always struck me as a way to hog out the excess
from a lumber blank
without cutting rocker into the pieces
to laminate before
gluing.
waste intensive .
is that not a large scale router?
wow.
that floored me.
minimalize chatter with a heavyweight like that baby!
…ambrose…
profiler = duplicateable rocker template.
