It would be great to hear and see [if] Mark and Buttons are STILL surfing together today , as well as Dane , of course !!
I really enjoyed those seventies movies with them and dane and larry in them .
I loved the hawaiian flow, and the radicalness of their surfing and , though competetitive , they DEFINATELY looked like they were having FUN , to me !!
The shots in Surfer magazine in the 1970s by the late GREAT water [and land] surf photographer Warren Bolster [R.I.P.] of them at Velzyland were some of my fondest memories and photographic influences , growing up in Sydney as a grom in the seventies .
