nice post chippy, good read.
G’day Chippy, been called many things but never mysterious! Yep Waka’s blog is a classic, hey. His local area has a thriving kneelo community and has produced multiple world champs as well one of my favourite photogs, Steen Barnes. Check his work out here http://www.redbubble.com/people/steen/portfolio
There’s another great blog from a Pommy expat in Java, http://sugarpalm77.wordpress.com/ , his coffee adventures make for a good read.
And as far as West Oz goes there’s http://indianakneeriders.blogspot.com/ , put together by another Pommy expat based in Perth, Gray Murdoch. There’s more kneelos in WA now than there has been in a very long time and I tell you what we get some double takes when 20 of us paddle out at once. We get together once a month or so usually just for a surf but the odd comp as well. If there are any more kneelos out there, get in touch with Gray through the blog.
cheers

...ah ! now THERE'S a blast from the past !! I was just asking hicksy about him on facebook , recently [yes , he used to be on here at Swaylocks , previously .... " earth to GRAY ...over "]
In fact , I took some photos of he and hicksy with their hollow wood boards , YEARS ago , on the lawn near Brighton. I didn't know he was a kneelo ...I have three mates here who kneeboard , hence the thread ....
cheers !
