In another post you stated you ride a gemini. What is your opinion of these boards? I’d gotten in touch with someone through the Alexander website to inquire, but never went any further. I’m just curious since they were hyped up pretty strongly (and derided just as strongly) in an earlier posting.
Been there did that don’t think I want to go through the online experience again. If you read the SurferMag Design Forum post you’ll understand… I did it to answer the same question for Shwuz.
Anyway
love mine although i haven’t ventured it backside or in any waves of consequence like Randy and Jeff. Just surf it like “tacking” a skateboard and you’ll unleash the jet engine. Going frontside I feel I can make just about any wave any section (even close outs)with its accelerator. Now thats a good feeling…
I agree, that was very informative on your part. Sorry to see the cr@p that came with the posting. Wish there was some way to get a hold of a demo or a friend’s board, but I’ve never seen on in the water.
Thanks again.
PS - I have run into a similar design - HIC Converter. Single nose, single deep concave down the whole center. Guy in the shop said they’re fun but you have to know how to work it.
Theres a guys that surfs a gemini where i surf. He gets into waves early but the thing looks like it turns just like how it looks…like a catamaran, slow rail to rail response.
