"We want the further development of the harbour breakwater in Mölle on the west coast of Skåne to be stopped. This development will for certain destroy on of Swedens best surfspots as the intention for this breakwater is to block the waves that break near shore in the harbour bay.
The harbour in Mölle has since it was discovered as a surfspot in the late nineties been a magnet for surfers from the Nordic countries and a large number of local enthusiast consider the harbour their home in the ocean. This surfspot has not only put put Mölle on the map for surfers, but also contributed to the charm of this old seaside resort with spectacular shows in the water."

I regularly surf this break, It can not be said to be anywhere near topclass. But is kind of unique in that it produces a very consistent breaking righthander even with a full onshore of 30knots of wind.
Never really gets much over headhigh but produces a fun wall that rolls on for 100metres+ and on occassional rare days can even provide for some small coverups.
We who surf this break regularly are staging a demonstration outside the town council in the city of Höganäs this Friday at 17:00 pm.
We really appreciate all support to stop another european surfspot to be damaged!
This spot must be very special, a rare scandanavian treat. Thanks for posting this, and best of luck saving this place. I’ve been in the south of Sweden (in the summer when it was flat), and it was incredibly beautiful - I want to go back one day with my board, and sample the surf!
Good luck , and please keep us posted here at sways about the status of Molle.
Wish I could go to the protest! - have you been in contact with the folks who protested the Trestles overpass? What about The Surfer’s Journal? - They occasionally put up environmental notices too.
