In the past, I have been fairly successful with using masking tape for airbrush designs, however a friend suggested that I use clear self adhesive shelf paper. I’ve seen his work and it looks great, but then he does his designs on top of the hotcoat and I prefer to airbrush directly on the foam. Has anyone had any experience with this method (shelfpaper on foam) and to what end? Thanks, GT
Howzit Indygoofyfoot, shelf paper works just fine, I’ve used it for large areas instead of lots of masking tape. One customer wanted clear stars on a blue board so I just cut out a bunch from shelf paper, stuck them on the blank and sprayed the board blue. Pulled the stars and vola it was done. Aloha, Kokua
