Hey Guys, i have a idea! i want to paint a flag on an XPS blank! Is it possible?! Because i have heard that i have to scratch the blank before glassing (Delamination)!
Have somebody an idea how to solve the problem?
i want to paint the blank with dispersion paint!
I sand the blank with some 60 grit before glassing, but I also sprayed my XPS hull with some green paint.
Seemed to work just fine…the board has been only lightly used but it’s solid.
This one came out a little funky because the lam came out a little dry…
your board looks really cool! so you have sprayed the blank after the sanding (60 grit) right? What kind of spray do you use for the blank?
Where are you guys getting the XPS? I can’t seem to find any up here (central California)!
