Hello all… Cabn you tell me which types of automotive paints are used for production of epoxy sup ? I am wishing to spray on top of filler coat. Also what type of clear paint is used ? Or is it gel coat sprayed on top? Thanks for your Help …DSD
Hi Petey, I don’t know what others use, but I use rattle can paint made for plastic, then use a rattle can clear acryllic.
I’ve heard the name Upol for clear coat, but when I went to look for it locally I couldn’t find it. NAPA doesn’t sell it. I was going to try a water based Polyurethane made for floors that is extra durable and has good UV protection, and spray that with a cheap electric sprayer.
I wanted to know if you have more foam to get rid of. I made a board with that white XPS and I liked working with that.
