pandanus

Greetings saviors of mankind and the free world. After a 12 month hiatus. House building and working in shit holes . the pandanus clan has settled at a pristine coast on 40 acres. now all I have to do is shake the winter coat and build a new shed and off we go. We finally got online today so off we go.

Great news John, where are you now?

You’ll have a lot of catching up on here, the Auslocks is now west of Melbourne…

Good to have you back…

Hey Pandanus…

Glad for you on the acreage…living my dream.

I want to ask, are you the dude that was doing some mad assymetrical channels and Jet bottoms with Earl Pedersen in Agnes? Forgive me if its a case of mistaken Identity.

Josh

Sorry speed needle, I am an elbows and knees man when it comes to boards, only normal. Glenn Collins is the asymetrical , jet bottom man. surf1770.com I think that is it.

Sweet then…

Yeah I remember the name now you wrote it…

So no need for the social gaffe of calling you another name.

But c’mon, would’nt you like to hack a board different one side to the other, just to be outlandish?

Josh

Asymetrics are all good in certain type of waves but it has to get to a point when it is working against you. As for the jet bottom same same .I really enjoy fixing them .One ding is like 5. but they do go well in certain waves. I have tried one and coudn’t tell any different but other people swear by them.

Whoa, checked the website. Now that’s a… fish?!

Well, it could ,should maybe a fish. set of gills, maybe some scales. But it will do till we get a real one. Actually there are a couple of these around and they work . They just seam like a lot of trouble when simple works as good.

I do agree Pandanus…

After I went through a whole lot of wild trips, I went full circle back to clean curves and subtlty.

Though I reckon Glenn Cat gets a pat on the back for thinking out of the square…

But the thread was about you…sorry, hi-jacked it!

Josh

No appology needed. This is a surfbard design forum…
